In my endless chase for a hobby, this past month I stumbled upon matcha. In very simple terms, I love designing. This month, I did design a café concept, and unlike the other times I designed, I also made the product. This is “Rook.” Rook is a premium South Asian matcha fusion café. Inspired by Silk Road stamps, Rook’s design revolves around collecting stamps for customer loyalty rewards. I had so much fun designing all of these stamps and testing out my matcha flavors.

I am an Indian American born and raised in the beautiful (boring) state of Michigan. I love play the drums, lifting, photography, traveling and exploring the world, and as of late, trying new foods. Currently, I am a student and lifelong learner of dental surgery (I am/will be a dentist, depending on when you read this).
All my life, I have always wanted to do something creative, and now, through my blog, I finally get this opportunity. By stopping and reading, even if you don’t like what I write or think it’s weird, still means a lot to me. You fuel my ego.
